London Motorcycle Show 2007

The 2007 MCN London Motorcycle Show will see the return to the UK of official BMW Motorrad stunt hero Chris Pfeiffer. While Chris has visited the UK before it will be his first time in BMW colours and the first time riding his BMW F 800 S in front of British fans.

Following its move to the ExCel exhibition centre in London’s docklands area, the MCN London Motorcycle Show looks set to be one of the most exciting shows of next year – not least because of the long awaited return of Chris to these shores.

For several years Pfeiffer has been cementing his position as the world’s greatest stunt rider. His performances defy the laws of physics as he persuades his BMW F 800 S into some of the most incredible tricks, including no-handed wheelies, 270-degree stoppies and the one o’clock (overhanging) wheelie.

In 2006 the German rider has won both the European Stunt Riding Championship and US Stunt Wars Championship. In the absence of an official world championship, Chris is without a doubt the undisputed king of stunt riding this year.

Chris’s prestigious talents undoubtedly stem from his love of trials riding but more specifically, free riding, where he is widely regarded as one of the world’s most prolific performers of this extreme sport. No structure is safe from Pfeiffer and his previous successes include near vertical cliff faces, giant concrete bowls and rooftops.

To relax away from the stunt circuit Chris likes nothing more than racing. That’s right, to chill out, the BMW adrenalin junkie swaps his F 800 S for an HP2 Enduro and takes part in some of the most gruelling competitions on the face of the planet. In 2006, these have included the Erzberg Iron Road Prologue, European Cross-Country Championships, the Snow Speedhill race up a ski slope and of course the European Hillclimb championship.
